Cross Video Gallery 6.1 enables multiple users publish their video/audio and attached image/document as easy as ABC. It includes 12 sub modules which offer many cool features which haven’t seen in other competitors, as followings:
1.Multiple user support, authorized users can post their own video/audio and attached photo/document with it.
2. Each user can manage their files. Module supports automatic convert user upload videos to .flv or h.264 format.

2.1.1 Fully rewrote based dnn 6 framework
Dnn 6.x is a revolutionary version. It brings a lot of new exciting features, like the form pattern, the jquery ui(jquery tabs), the pop-up windows..etc. Many clients request us to integrate these new features into Cross Video Gallery module, so we fully rewrote it to utilize these new features. You will like Cross Video Gallery new interface if you use dnn 6.x to build your site.

2.1.2 Different video/audio source
Video/audio source can come from belows:
1. Local File, Flv/Mp4/Swf video(or .mp3 audio) files which you uploaded to site.Module can automatic convert other video format to .flv or h264(.mp4) format.
2. External Url, like followings

3. Embed Code, embed code from other sites..
2.1.3 Fully integrate with YouTube
If you have a few videos which come from YouTube, you can choose direct add them as video source. If you have multiple videos, you can choose create a YouTube rss to let module automatic import for you.
You can create YouTube rss based User upload/favorite/play list , or based YouTube standard feeds(like most popular,most viewed,etc), you can also create rss based YouTube category and search condition. Module will use dnn schedule jobs to automatic check your rss item periodically and import videos for you.
For example,if you create a YouTube rss item based your account upload, then when you upload a new video to YouTube, module will detect this new video and import it into your own video list(or video serial) in Cross Video Gallery. You can edit/delete/view and get comment/rating/recommend just like other videos.
2.1.4 Convert user upload video to .flv or h.264(.mp4) format online
User may upload different type of videos, play these videos via normal way is too difficult. Module solves this question by convert user upload videos to flash video format(.flv) or H264 (.mp4 ) format and generate thumbnail. Just like YouTube did.

2.1.6 Stand alone and serial video/audio
You can publish stand alone video/audio or publish serial video/audio. Serial is a group of video/audio, you can put multiple media item in 1 serial so user can watch them one by one.
2.1.7 Up to 28 player skins
Supports up to 28 video player skins,you can choose as your wish.
2.1.8 Ad Videos(new in v5.1)
V5.1 add let you set a ad video which will play before the actual video. You can also specify its play probability(0-100) . This will be helpful if you want to make money via your videos
2.1.9 Flash & HTML5 player support to play videos on both pc and mobile(iphone/ipad/nokia..etc ) (new in v6.1)

In v6.1, we improve mobile support based customer feedback. By default,module will use flash plug-in to play videos.However,if module detect current browser doesn't support flash (For example, if you use Iphone/Ipad to watch video), module will automatic switch to html 5 video tag to play videos.

2.2 Multiple user, file manage, Large file upload, Amazon S3
2.2.1 Multiple user support.
Administrator can choose roles which can post video/audio, specify disk quote and item count this role can have.
2.2.2 User file manager
If user belong to edit roles and his disk quote not set to 0. He can manage his own folder/files. When edit his video/audio, he can choose related files(audio/video,etc) from these files. He can add/delete folder, upload/move/delete/rename/unzip files. Just like site administrator can do in dnn standard “File Manager” page, user can do the same work too. Except the “Upload“ function, module provides more powerful tools.

2.2.3 Multiple/large file upload
Module provide multiple/large file upload via Ms silverlight control,don't need change anything in site configuration. User can upload huge files as he wish. The only limitation is his disk quote, and can't upload files which don't in site allowable file extensions.
You can upload .zip files and check “Unzip“ option to automatic unzip after upload. This will reduce a lot of upload time.

2.2.4 Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3)
Amazon S3 provides a simple web services interface that can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. You can use it easily in Cross Video Gallery module, simple change storage type as “Amazon S3” and enter your account information.

2.3 Gallery, Customize attributes, Category, Tag,Publish varied information
2.3.1 Media gallery ( media type)
Galleries are top-level data to organize information. Each gallery has its own categories/attributes/tags/videos(or audios).
Tips: some people may ask “why we need gallery?” Well, gallery is mainly used to organize attributes/categories. For example, if you use Cross Video Gallery to publish both videos and audios, you may need create different attributes for video and audio, and you also need different categories to organize them. Gallery let you solve this problem easily.
2.3.2 Disable unwanted fields
Video/Audio as some built-in fields, like author/source/image,etc. You can disable them If you don't’ need . If a field is disabled, then it will not display on edit interface which belong to current gallery. And of course, it will also disappear in video/audio list and detail module too.
2.3.3 Customize your own fields ( for long content)
Besides the built-in field, each gallery also supports up to 5 additional fields to let you publish long content (text/html content). You can specify its title and default value. If a field is enabled, then it will display on media edit interface and detail which belong to current gallery. .
2.3.4 Customize your own fields ( for short content)
Video/Audio attributes (e.g. "Director" or "Actor") are used to create inter-dependent video/audio variations. After creating a attribute, you can then create specific attribute values for an individual video/audio (e.g. "Bruce Lee", "Jack Chen", "Sylvester Stallone").

Below is a list of data types you can specify for attribute:
A. Basic data like string / int / decimal / datetime / date / time / Boolean / currency.
B. Special data like email / image / url / text html.
You can specify a list of value for attribute,and display them as drop download list/radio list/check box list. User can choose one(or many) of them while adding medias. After added, these fields will be treated the same as built-in fields. You can add/edit their value, display them on video/audio list module and detail module.
2.3.5 Unlimited level categories
Each gallery has its own categories. You can add unlimited level of categories. A video/audio can belong to multiple categories.

Each gallery has its own tag list. A video/audio can belong to multiple tags.
2.3.7 Publish varied information
By using gallery/attributes/categories/tags, you can publish any type of media information as your wish and show them in different styles.
2.4 Video/Audio, Permission,Image/Attachment/, Private,Protected ,Embed code
2.4.1 Video/Audio
A video/audio can belong multiple categories/tags. You can put multiple video/audios into 1 serial to let user watch them one by one. Module provide a “Add from folder“ feature to let you add multiple video into serial more easily.
2.4.2 Permission
Administrator can set default view/rate/recommend/comment/attachment download permission for all medias. Besides that , each media can has its own view/rate/recommend/comment/attachment download permissions.
2.4.3 Related Image/Attachment
A video/audio can have multiple image/attachment with it. If author has disk quote,he can choose his own files to add. If his disk quote is set to 0, he can only add from external url.
If you have multiple video/image/audio to add, instead of add them one by one, you can upload them to a folder, and choose “Add from folder “ to add them once.

2.4.4 Private video/audio
If a video/audio (or serial) is marked as private,then it can only be viewed by site administrator and video owners.

2.4.5 Protected video/audio
If a video/audio (or serial) is marked as protected,then visitors need to be enter correct password before view it. Of course, site administrator and video owner don't need this.
2.5.5 Embed code
Just like other video/audio share site, we also provide embed code to let user share your video/audio on other sites.
2.5 Comment,Rating,Recommend,Help ticket, Play list, Abuse Report , Avatar, Bookmark,Active Social integration
2.5.1 Comment/rating/recommend
Visitor can submit comment/rating/recommend to medias. Administrator can decide which role has these permissions.
2.5.2 Help Ticket
Registered user can submit help ticket to author to get 1-to-1 help.
2.5.3 Play list
Registered user can add video/audio to his play list.
2.5.4 Abuse Report
Visitor can submit abuse report to site administrators, administrator can delete video/audio based these feedback.
2.5.7 Avatar and Social bookmark
Integrate avatar at http://www.gravatar.com/ and also support social bookmark like Google,Facebook,Live bookmarks etc.
2.5.7 Active Social module integration(new in v5.3)
Social network is popular today. In v5.3,we fully integrate dnn official Active Social module. Whenever user post a video/audio, it will automatic shown in his profile in Active Social module.
2.6 Ajax,Template, Controllable, Player, Mail, Seo,Google video sitemap/web sitemap,Rss,
2.6.1 Fully integrate Ajax via JQuery
Provide a uninterrupted watch experience is vital to a video/audio share site. This is why we spend many days to fully integrate Ajax. Whenever visitor submit help ticket/create report abuse, or post rating/comment/recommend, it all done via Ajax and not refresh page to break user video/audio watching.
By the way,we do ajax by utilize JQuery which is part of DotNetNuke,so you don't need install 3-rd components.
2.6.2 All display modules are template based
There are 12 sub modules in this package.Except the CrossVideo_Admin module( which used to manage all data) , the other 11 modules are fully template based. There are some built-in template in package,you can try save a copy then modify them, then choose them as your display.

When help ticket/report abuse is submitted/responded..., module will send related mail to author/client.
2.6.6 Seo optimization
A: Add video/audio title to page title while view its detail.
B: Automatic add video/audio title and its tag to page “keywords”
C: Provide a option “Enable seo friendly url“ . If this option is checked ,module will generate video/audio detail page url use its title. We strongly recommend client enable this option if you video/audio title is English.
2.6.7 Integrate with Google web site map(new in v6.1)
As we know, dnn provide a web site map which can be submitted to Google web master tools to let Google index your site more easily. By default,dnn only list your web pages as site map urls.In v6.1, we provide a option to let Cross Video Gallery module also include your videos/audios in web site map urls. It is a must do action if you want to your videos/audios be searched more easily.

2.6.8 Google video sitemap supported(new in v5.9)
Besides web sitemap, Google also let you submit video sitemap to its webmaster tools to let Google index your videos easily. In v5.9, module will automatic create Google video sitemap for your site to let you submit to Google easily. It is a valuable feature to improve visitor traffic for your videos.
Note,there is no conflict between your web sitemap and your Google video sitemap. We strongly recommend you submit both of them to Google if possible.
2.6.9 Rss integrated

2.7.1 Manage all information in 1 module
There are 12 sub-modules in Cross Video Gallery package. But all informations (gallery/category/attributes/video/comment/help ticket....) are managed via 1 module - the CrossVideo_Admin sub module. Other 11 sub modules are all used to display content.

This module is used to maintain all information related to Cross Video Gallery, like settings/gallery/category/video list/tag list/user file /comment/help ticket/abuse report.You only need 1 instance per portal.

This module is used to display video/audio list. You can add multiple instance as you want.

Supports three flash display style to display video/audio links: Numeric navigate(classical),Numeric navigate(button free),Numeric navigate(integrative). Each flash has its own control options.
